NWBTC opened its doors in Portland, Oregon in 1995 with the desire to meet the needs of those whose live’s have been shattered by sin. Since the first day, salvation and hope have been the mainstay of the ministry.
Since those early days, Northwest Bible Training Center has had a tireless commitment to breaking the hold of sin on a person’s life.
In creating a safe and inspiring environment for personal and spiritual growth, Northwest Bible Training Center has offered more than just a bed and meals. We provide a way to transition men and women, ages 16 to 65 years of age, into new lives armed with new coping skills, impulse control, recovery skills, spiritual grace, and practical, faith-based solutions, and the power of the holy spirit for victory over life-controlling problems.
By creating a place where residents find love, acceptance, a sense of belonging, and a place of Christian fellowship, the Center provides a place with a message of hope for those who are desperate for change in their lives.
Northwest Bible Training Center helps impart coping skills, life skills, job skills, Biblical standards, and most importantly, the spiritual foundation needed to rebuild a broken life.
Northwest Bible Training Center’s goal to address the root causes of sin and actively break its hold on thousands of precious lives. Another primary goal is total life recovery for every person whom we minister through the Lordship of Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit. We serve the true and living God and believe that anything is possible.
